The man was NOT nominated by his own party in his own state in 2006, so he turned around and ran as his own party, Connecticut for Lieberman created by twenty-five supporters so that he could still run for the senate seat his own party decided he was not fit for. In 2008, he supported McCain and not anyone in the Democratic run for the president. After the election and the Democratic landslide, this asshole was still allowed to keep his chairmanships, and allowed a voice, despite his Benedict Arnold turn around.
