Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy

I fell in love with Bette when I first saw her on a Johnny Carson show, she sang a song under a lamppost ... old school. I love this song done by her, because it revived the memories of the Andrews Sisters' version.

I'm 57 damn, it, and I am only just a few years removed from the jazz era that my family raised me up on.

I was so into them that for a number of years, my Halloween costume was a female military outfit just like these, that I paid bucks for from a movie costume warehouse. When I get around to it, I'll scan the pictures and post them.
