MMMMM, Korean Tacos!

I finally made it to a Koggi BBQ truck and had my very first Korean taco! Wow, is all I can say.

I heard of the Koggi truck about a year ago, when Twitter was starting to be "the rage" in personal communication. Koggi would tweet where they were going to be, and people would gather and wait. Of course, the food had to be good enough to make people want to wait 30 deep in a line just to get some Korean BBQ in a taco, with the best salsa that is not of Spanish origin (well, I'm pretty sure I saw/tasted some cilantro)!

You can see where their four trucks will be at their website. And you can also follow them via twitter.

I liked the tacos. I can't wait to try something else.

Birthday Party!!!

Had a blast at office party this afternoon, despite the heat. All last week it was 60ish and cloudy, this week it was 90+. No air conditioning in the place where the party was, coupled with a few glasses of wine, and I was bleeding hot!

Theme ... Koreans (duh), Mariachi music, and a pinata! (sorry for the bad quality of my pictures, but they were taken from my phone and you all know I suck at picture taking!)

Probably Closing Bar Out On This Song

Yes, a tad outdated, but hey, hip hop and other genres of music are not the exclusive province of American artists.

Enjoy!

Am In That Mood

I have worked in the Korean community for about 15 years now. Even though I can't speak much (I know more Spanish, damn it), I have been immersed in the culture, and to some of my co-workers' surprise, their pop culture music. I now this video is old school ... still, I like it.
