SYTYCD Dizzy Feet Gala

Zaire and I will be attending the free portion of the day long festivities, with thousands of other Angelenos. This is the second year of this dance festival, and last year appeared to be so much fun, based on the news reports and stuff I read about, such that since it will happen on a Saturday that I will have Zaire, we WILL be going!

Zumba, hip hop and other forms of dance! Expect shitty photos from my cell phone, but at least I'll have some to share!!!!

SYTYCD Redux

Well, I can definitely see in week two that a few dancers are starting to show some weakness.

Still, last week's decision NOT to eliminate ANY one was an amazing thing to watch and in all eight seasons, a first round top 20 NON elimination has never occurred.

Unfortunately, there were some dancers that did not live up tonight.

No One Sent Home, SYTYCD Style

Just a short post re SYTYCD ... I knew last night that it was virtually impossible to send ANY of the dancers home, and was haunted by the feeling of how were these judges going to pick one guy and one girl, based on those dances, to send home.

So, it actually turns out that the judges decided, for the first time EVER ... to not send anyone home tonight! Of course, next week, two guys and two girls will go home, but for now ... all of the dancers are still in it.

I knew this was going to be hard based on what I saw last night!
