Starting Christmas Early
It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
If consumerism can start Christmas before Thanksgiving, so can I.
The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
So, shoot me for starting early, damn it!

Well, dammit, that's cool! Another one of my Father's singing-throughout-the-house songs when I was growing up (Most Wonderful Time). I won't shoot ya, for sure. Merry Christmas!
Yeah, just like "you're not supposed to wear white after Labor Day," it's always supposed to be that Christmas music should not be the de jour set until after Thanksgiving.
But, if you have noticed, most stores start putting out their Halloween stuff right after Labor Day, and then Thanksgiving stuff usually comes up right after Halloween. But I noticed that when I went to get Zaire his Halloween costume, CHRISTMAS TREES AND ORNAMENTS were already up at the store (K-Mart), as well as most of little drug stores (like CVS and Walgreens)! So, if ignoring Thanksgiving is becoming the regular advertising shtick, then I'm going to play Christmas music whenever I feel like it!
Have yourself a merry Christmas! Oh, and hope you have a fun turkey day as well.
