What Is Your State Of Mind?

Nearly a year later, I am still in that "New York State Of Mind."

I'm in a Kate McGarrigle state of mind, as a defense against the SCOTUS decision the other day. I'd like to hear your comments about that, good bartender, along with...good, warm Courvoisier on this chilly evening. Hope all is well with ya, what with all the rain.

I'll have a separate piece up about the SCOTUS decision later. For now I am, of course, bothered by the implications of the decision, although it also does allow unions and other left wing/liberal organizations to do the same thing. But I do think it goes against the grain of what America and elections are about, and that is a government of, by and for the people. This decision puts the government squarely in the hands of big money corporations and out of the hands of the American people.

To me, it's just another step in the direction of taking down this wonderful nation of ours, and as they say, you can't really get better until you've hit rock bottom, and trust me, we've yet to hit rock bottom.
