Father's Day

I hope all those that are parenting fathers had a happy day today.

Funny, my daughter, who has never had a relationship with her father, despite the fact that he technically had joint physical custody of her during most of her childhood, did not call her dad. Nor did she have her son call his father (who lives in Chicago).

Before they all died, I always remembered my uncle, who was never my dad, and my grandfather, and at least gave them a card and a phone call. I would have called my own father, if anyone in my family would have given me a phone number. Oh well.
