I Always Wanted To Be An Ikette



This is how I remember Ike and Tina. As I've blogged before, I saw this band a few times at the Friday Night Cantine at Lakewood High School (California). My sister, our friend Debbie and I all wore same style short, short, short skirts, and liked to dance like the Ikettes! I know they used to take 8mm films of the cantines at Lakewood. I'm curious if any of them survived.
