It's funny when people say that open discussion of atrocities committed by American soldiers in Iraq strengthens the "enemy." Only if by "enemy," they mean the American public. For it is the American public that is totally clueless as to the reality in Iraq. The Iraqis most certainly know exactly the bad things being done to them in the name of "liberation," "freedom," and "democracy."
Disallowing discussion of the truth about how bad things are in Iraq only serves to keep the American public in the dark ... it has zero impact on the so-called insurgents.
