Is It Your Weather Or Is It Their Weather?

I thought this was funny, at first. I still think it's funny, but I'm also annoyed at the lengths this administration goes to in attempting to control what information American cititzens have access to.

Given all the bad publicity BushBoy and his Troup have had over Katrina, they now demand that any and all requests for weather information from NOAA be approved first by Department of Commerce.

According to a leaked Sept. 29 email memo sent out to NOAA staff, including employees of the National Weather Service (NWS) -- both of which are under the Department of Commerce -- employees must collect information from reporters and forward it to the Department.

What the hell is that all about?

There's a tornado headed your way in...oh, never mind, that was yesterday.

Good question. What the hell IS that about? Just when you think they've played their biggest 'dumb card', they find another.
Could I get Guinness?
