Sending Our Best And Bravest To Fight In Iraq?

More from the Idiot Blog:

We are engaged in a war - and, dammit, it is downright unpatriotic to be undermining the war effort under the false-flag of political dissent. Political dissent involves dissenting from the President's health care proposals...but while our best and bravest are fighting the enemy abroad, dissent can never mean parroting enemy propaganda...and all too often that is just what our Democratic leaders are doing. (italics added)

Now they want to tell you just what political dissent is by narrowing the issues on which you can disagree, and then to throw in the line "best and bravest?"

I don't want to rag on the military, but we all know that the best and bravest are not serving in the military. I think we can say the soldiers are doing their best and being the bravest they can be in this situation. But we are nowhere near sending this country's "best and bravest" citizens to Iraq.
