The Occasional Coverage Of The War

This from Hoffmania!

An Unseen Enemy

Demise of a Hard-Fighting Squad
Two news outlets - constantly vilified as being "liberal media." And yet, unlike the squeaky clean war neatness of Newsmax, the Washington Times and Fox News, they have the guts to tell America the atrocities our troops unexpectedly face in dealing with what amounts to be the modern-day version of Vietcong.

Unimaginable horror. Life-ripping death and destruction to their bodies. Yet these newspapers need to be praised for doing their jobs while the rest of the press turns its head. That's journalism
today.

Now - who supports the troops? Not the fake tough guy in front of you with the yellow magnetic ribbon on his SUV. Not the White House who threw those kids in there under the guise of fighting against imagined WMDs. And certainly not the cable news network with the non-stop flapping flag in the upper left hand corner.

But the embarrassingly few who actually tell us what they're really facing.
