That New Car Feeling

I have always felt everyone should at least at one time in their life, live at the beach. I also feel the same way about owning a new car, and at least a convertible auto.

I had my first car, an Opel Kadett, back in the early 1970's,

and my last NEW car, in 1977, a Fiat Spider convertible!

Does this mean you are thinking of getting a car again? I just bought a new one in April. I love the smell of a new car. Next spring, I will be in the market for a new convertible. I agree with you, that everyone should live at the beach at least once in their life, and they should own a convertible. SOmething we can agree on...YAY!!!

NO, I am NOT getting a new car! Sheesh, are you not reading my blog? I am unemployed, have serious legal bills for my daughter such that I have to put up a "donate" button on the blog, and you see this post as possibly an inside hit into I might be getting a new car? (laughs).

Perhaps YOU could donate a buck to helping me and Mercedes getting Zaire back. Have you ever read Zaire's blog?

As for the new cars, I was just posting after I watched a commercial related to "first loves" regarding cars, and remembering how I felt about my new cars, vs. my used cars. The beach ... now that is something truly awesome. And I don't mean merely having a summer beach house, I mean, literally, living at the beach, such as I did both in Hawai'i and in the North County area of San Diego (Leucadia, Encinitas and Cardiff).

You know, Tony, with all the comments you have posted over the years either on my blog or on Bob's blog, I find it interesting how often you drop names, drop famous places, drop hints about your money, and even the comment above asking me if I was going to buy a new car, and yet you have not contributed one RED (intentional pun) cent to my daughter's fund. If you can't share it, Tony, please don't bother telling us about it, ok? Thanks.

It’s great that you once owned an Opel Kadett car. My father also has the same car like yours. It was also his first car. He loves it so much because it has very spacious passenger seats and compartment. We still have this car until now in our garage, and he is planning to customize it to make it look contemporary.

The thing I love most about convertible cars is that you can easily adapt to the unpredictable weather. You can always enjoy the light of the sun and, at the same time, you can protect yourself from too much UV rays and rainwater by turning on the rag top. My best friend owns a black Mazda Miata and he is always taking me for a ride. The car is so cool, and I have to say, every ride in it is all worthwhile.

Your two consecutive cars look incredibly cool, but the red one really caught my attention. This spider gears have an ability to turn with ease, as this car allows one wheel to speed up, allowing its body to turn itself smoothly. So, I think this car is safer than the first one because of its easy maneuver.
