Been Busy, New Posts To Start Soon

Between training the new person that will take over my old job (that I had for 12 years), and preparing for the new job (I will work next month half a day at new job, half a day at old job still training), as well as anticipating my grandson's arrival (and the vaunted custody evaluation that starts today, FINALLY), there has been little from me by way of posting. Mind you, I have bookmarked a lot of stories I want to comment on, so don't be surprised if all of a sudden, Sunday contains a boatload of new posts!!!!

I'm just lucky that I was able to up and quit a job on a Thursday, and get hired for a new one on Friday, without so much as having to pick up a phone or spend any time looking! Ah, isn't having a great reputation in my industry great! Oh, an Tony ... looks like I'll be joining the ranks of the taxpayers (LOL) so now I'll finally be able to say a lot more about "taxes."

Also, look for fun and new pictures of my grandson, who is growing so fast he is almost as tall as me!

That's great news Carrie about finding a new job so quick. Even better news is that Zaire will be coming to visit, and hopefully stay.

Thanks for the high five regarding getting a job so quickly. My grandson is here for the month of July, and I will get him from Friday after work until Saturday in the evening (or maybe he'll sleep over and mom will pick him up on Sunday after she wakes up-whatever she decides), plus I will have him for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, July 23, 24, and 25 (he leaves for Chicago on Sunday, July 29), so I will undoubtedly have a great deal of time with him during this visit. Who knows after all the evaluation is done just what will be recommended to the Court, but from what I heard about Friday's joint evaluations (father/kid, mother/kid, kid alone, mother/father) some of the things they had to do and the tests and the drawings -- and from my experience for 26 years in family law, I got the feeling that round one, two and three went to my daughter/grandson. Let's hope, and for those that pray, PRAY, god damn it! LOL!!!!!!
