IT'S FOOTBALL SEASON, BABY!

Some interesting games today. I watched three, the Giants' home opener (they won), the Green Bay game (they won), and currently watching the Redskins (with new quarterback McNabb) lead Dallas by six points with a minute left to go.

And Detroit -- that, to me, was a touchdown, damn it! Sorry, dudes.

Tim Tebow was a bust tonight, despite all the hoopla. Oh, and Peyton took a beating as well, tee hee!

The season opened last Thursday, and my beloved Chargers will play on an ESPN double header Monday Night Football.

Man I love the smell of pigskin in the morning!

I have zilch interest in NFL. Follow college ball casually, mainly because I play Yahoo pick 'em.

I've been a professional football fanatic for 31 years. And, sadly, all those years as a San Diego Chargers fan.

Tonight's game showed me that time and time again, this team, as great as it is, cannot, simply, absolutely, cannot play in foul weather, damn it!

Torrential downpour tonight, and my team did make it interesting such that the last 30 seconds of the game, the Chargers were still in it.

So, what's your take on the USC fiasco and Reggie Bush's probability of having to return his Heisman?

He did, but what does he care at this point? A superstar Romeo with a Superbowl ring. Doesn't seem right somehow that the current team plays the penalty while the coach gets to walk away.

I agree with you on that part. The coach (and others) need to truly pay for this, not just the team, the players and the school.
