I thought it was interesting that the tail end of the Hardball piece with Paul Hackett and Van Taylor (Texas) ended with Matthews asking Hackett if he's bothered he's not the candidate in the election (Ohio). Hackett was right on his toes and responded that he totally supported Brown as the candidate. Twice Mathews tried to bait him, but he stood his ground.
And this from the candidate that the Democratic party first built up, and then very nicely asked to step aside.
Not exactly the party's best move.
